Confetti is a song by Little Mix and appears as the fourth track on their sixth album Confetti. It was released on November 4, 2020 worldwide as a promotional single. A remixed version featuring Saweetie was released on April 30, 2021 and serves as the fourth and final single from the album. An acoustic version was released on May 28, 2021. It is the first single to not feature Jesy Nelson.
Background and Release[]
The collaboration was leaked after the vinyl edition of the Confetti album containing the feature was announced on April 7, 2021. The single was officially announced on April 21, 2021 via the group's social media platforms.
MNEK revealed on Instagram on April 23, 2021, that new background vocals, adlibs and production were incorporated into the remix after Saweetie was confirmed as a feature. A snippet was released on April 26, 2021 on TikTok.
On Apple Music, Perrie said “‘Confetti’ is sexy. It's very understated but cool. And we just feel cool listening to it. As soon as we had this song, we just knew this would be what the album would be called. It was fun, cool, and you could do so much with it.” Jade said “We always think of video ideas and gender reversals. You know when you see rappers in the club with girls dancing? Imagine if that was switched round.”
The demo version leaked on January 1, 2025, with different ad-libs, some making it to the remix version with Saweetie.
