The Get Weird Tour was the third concert tour by the British girl group Little Mix in support of their third studio album, Get Weird. The tour started on March 13, 2016 in Cardiff, Wales. The second leg commenced in May 2016 in Oceania and Asia. The European leg started on June 12, 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden.
As of 2018, the Get Weird Tour was ranked the 8th highest grossing girl group tour of all time. [1]
Background[]
The tour was officially announced on July 17, 2015 through the band's Twitter. It began on March 13, 2016, in Cardiff, Wales at the Cardiff Arena and continued throughout the UK, finally concluding on April 3, 2016, in Birmingham, England at the Birmingham Genting Arena. On October 13, 2015, it was announced that the tour would also have dates in Australia, marking this as the first time Little Mix headlined a tour outside of the UK and Ireland. [2] On December 14, 2015, it was announced that the tour would also extend into Asia, with three dates confirmed.
